DESCRIPTION:Minnesota United FC’s Youth Academy is hosting a variety of camps throughout 2024. These camps offer opportunities for both recreational and competitive players to get involved with the club\, with special emphasis placed on honing skills\, improving understanding of the game\, and adding a positive experience to each participant’s soccer journey. \n\n\n\n\nSpecific details for this camp can be found below:\n\nAges: 7-16 years of age\n\n\n\nPlayer Type: Recreational and Competitive – Boys and Girls\n\n\n\nCost: $60 per player\n\n\n\nLocation: Adrenaline Sports Center – 8310 147th Ln NW\, Ramsey\, MN 55303 \n\n\n\nDate: Thursday October 17\, 2024\n\n\n\nTime: 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.\n\nPlease plan to arrive 15 mins early for check-in.\n\n\n\n\n\nSupplies: All participants are asked to bring a soccer ball\, water\, and light snack All players must wear shin guards. Facility has a turf surface so cleats can be worn. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvery camp is run by licensed MNUFC Academy staff\, alongside other approved coaches. Through the use of US Soccer’s recommended Play-Practice-Play format\, these camps place emphasis on purposeful possession activities and small-sided games that address high-level concepts and further individual development\, all while keeping players engaged and having fun.  \n\n\n\nThe deadline to register for any MNUFC camp is seven days prior to the camp’s start date or until full. Academy staff will email all registered participants 5-7 days before the camp start date with confirmation of exact field numbers and a general reminder about the camp. \n\n\n\nCancellation Policy \n\n\n\nAll cancellations are subject to a $30 processing fee\, provided that they are made prior to 14 days of the program start date. No refunds will be given for cancellations that are made within 14 days of the program start date. If you learn that you cannot attend a program within 14 days of the start date\, we will work with you if you wish to transfer to another camp of the same monetary value that works for your family. \n\n\n\nWeather Related Cancellation \n\n\n\nIn the event that a program is cut short or cancelled due to inclement weather or any other unforeseen issues\, every effort will be made to make up lost time by extending the hours of the camp day. In the unlikely event that portions of the program cannot be made up\, no refunds or credits will be offered.
